(Mostly) full free ROM download will be available on this site in mid-September, 2012.

After nearly two years in development, I’m excited to announce that “Assimilate” will begin shipping out on or around March 17th, 2012!  Those who purchase the carts will be able to do so in two formats: cart and manual, or full CIB which includes the cart, manual, and box.

In the interest of making the game as accessible as possible to all those who wish to play it, there will be a mostly full, 100% free ROM download available approximately six months after the carts are released.  I say “mostly” full because the credits sequence will be slightly different on the carts, and the carts will also contain a secret, unlock-able bonus stage that will not be available in the downloadable freebie ROM.  However, the rest of the game will be included in the download, including all main stages, the cow level, the boss fights, and cut scenes.  Cart purchasers also have the obvious benefit of getting first dibs at the game.

At some point in the near future I will also have a limited demo ROM available, but have not yet decided when I’ll have that together.  It should be fairly soon, though.

The carts are being built by the capable hands of Mr. Bunny himself at Retrozone, and the boxes will be printed by the equally capable Uncle Tusk–THE CARTS WILL BE NUMBERED.–

(Please note, images at this point are preview only and taken of proofs.  Final cart, manual and box may be slightly different.)

Cart + Manual == $35 + shipping                            CIB: Cart, Manual, & Box == $45 + shipping

Pre-ordering will begin on this site Thur, Feb 16th, 2012 at 6:30pm EST.  (May change to an earlier time, so check back here as Thursday approaches to be sure.)  To pre-order your cart, simply visit this website and click on the “Buy Now” tab on the main menu at the top.  It should be next to the “Welcome to Nessylum Games” tab.  The “Buy Now” tab is not yet visible and will not be accessible until the pre-order time stated above.  When you click the magic “Buy Now” tab, you will be directed to the purchasing page where you can purchase one or multiple carts+manuals, CIBs, or combinations of both.  The numbering on the cart label is first-come, first-serve and will be numbered according to the time your order is received.  So if you want the lower numbers, be here and hitting the refresh button on Feb. 16th at 6:30pm!  At this time, it’s looking like I’m going to have to charge the full price at pre-order time.  Due to the simple paypal tools I’m using, there’s apparently no easy way to allow a partial down payment while paying for the rest later.

If you have any questions please email me.  Also be sure to check out the newest gameplay video I posted and the official release promo.

      That is correct, JD. You should see the “Buy Now” tab pop up at the top of this page at 6:30pm EST today. Just click that tab and it will direct you to the section of the site where you place your order.
